Jan can waitress again and she washed her own hair today
Yesterday, in NYC, Jan's elbow and hand doctor, Dr. Steven Stuchin, told her he didn't want to see her again and that she could do waitressing again. Meaning her broken elbow and wrist have made a great recovery and she' d be o.k.. More PT will be needed for three more weeks, but she's going to be fine.
She is still very sore and needs a lot of rest to recover, but I think we "out of the woods". She even washed her own hair today... took a couple hours, but she did it. Yea!
For the curious, with strong stomachs, I dealt with the trauma by taking photos of what was going on with Jan... right from the start, when the paramedics arrived on the scene.

Once again, thank you all for your wonderful outpouring of love and healing energy for Jan.

Happy New Year from Jan
She is getting much better. Her cracked ribs are what is the main pain source at present. She is going to physical therapy three times a week. Your well wishes and amazing energy blasts toward her are what is, in my opinion, helping the most. Thank you.
She has been able to get back to work, as some of you know, although she can only stay up for three to four hours at a time..... then it's hit the bed or couch and be cared for by her Saluki nurses.
Once again, thank you for all you've done for her.
May you have your best year ever!

Major update!!!!
Jan has been at a few doctors over the last couple of days. The two doctors, in NYC, that we met with yesterday, both said NO surgery needed!!!! One was a plastic surgeon, specializing in facial reconstruction and the other's specialties are elbows, hands and knees. Both are very well respected in the field.
Jan is still in a lot of pain and soreness, but she's improving every day.

Jan waiting for breakfast
Jan, on Wednesday morning with her two nurses... Jackie and Potatoh.
Jan actually went to her studio today. "You gonna try to stop her?"
She did a few things and I finally got her back up to the house for lunch and a short rest on the couch. She's still there and will remain until bedtime.
Once again, thank you for all of the cards, calls, emails flowers... she really is touched by it all.
