Jan is home. extremely sore and in pain, but home.
Also, she has her dogs to take care of her, too.

Monday Monday

Jan is doing better today. Going in and out of sass-land due to pain medications. She's been beat up pretty bad by the fall. New black and blue areas keep appearing. She's got a bruise on her left butt cheek that covers the entire thing... OW!

They are doing one more MRI tonight sometime and if that looks good she's getting out of here (hospital) on Tuesday. Back home to Dog Park with nurse Potatoh, Jackie and Travis. She wants to thank you for all of the great thoughts, emails energies, etc..

Jan is on the phone, at present, with her Dad and she just told him that she's getting her sass back. I concur.

Resting comfortably and lucid

Jan is resting comfortably. She is due to have one more MRI tomorrow morning. Her "team" is formulating a plan for her fractures to her face. See www.oddstick.com/tripodal She has breaks at each of the three points where this bone (zygomatic) joins the skull. She may be sent home to rest and then come back in a few days to fix it: move it back in place and use tiny titanium parts to hold it in place. More soon.

She is NOT checking her email or her phone at present. This will be the best place to get info.

I'm doing fine. I got a good night's sleep last night. The dogs a fine, too. They really miss her.
